The bomb blast which took place at St Finbars Catholic church in the volatile city of Jos, Nigeria earlier today during a mass service in which suicide attacker blew himself up killing 10 and critically injuring 3 others.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack which has similarly been carried out by Islamist Sect, Boko Haram in recent times.

Security at the gate of the church's compound stopped the suspicious car and the bomber detonated his explosives during an altercation that followed, Plateau state spokesman Pam Ayuba said.
