Wife of the newly appointed Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar has died in Kano. Hajiya Maryam Abubakar died of cancer in a local clinic in Kano.
Family sources confirmed that she had battled with cancer for a while. She will be buried according to Muslim rites today.
May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
