Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court has ordered the NDLEA to release the embattled comedian Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe on bail on Friday the 4th of November at the termination of the 15 days court order.
This should be effected if no drug is found in his system before the said date.
Justice Idowu in her ruling said the detention of Baba Suwe was against the human right law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Counsel to Baba Suwe, Bamidele Aturu, in an ex-parte motion application had asked the court to order NDLEA to immediately release his client from continues detention and incarceration.
Mr Aturu in his argument told the court that every one is presumed innocent until found guilty in a competent court of law and that the Nigeria Law does not allow any agency to arrest any person while looking for evidence to pursue it's case.
According to him, section 35 (1) sub section 4 and 5 of the 1999 constitution provides for this provision which must be strictly adhered to, adding that the doctrine of substantial compliance does apply in this case.
In responds to the application, NDLEA Counsel Mr. Femi Olorutober, contered that the old report as attached to the application shows that Baba Suwe stomach was congested with hard drugs.
He prayed the court to maintain the ruling of the Federal High Court which ordered Baba Suwe to remain in their Custody.
The presiding Judge ruled against NDLEA and granted Babatunde Omidina bail with the sum of N500,000 and two sureties.
