No Plan To Change Cabinet Now... President Jonathan

THE presidency has debunked speculation that there is an imminent shake-up of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), saying that it is a calculated attempt to divert the attention of the ministers.



It said in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President, Dr Reuben Abati, in Abuja, on Wednesday, that contrary to recent speculation in the media about a so-called impending cabinet reshuffle, the presidency wished to state emphatically that there was no truth whatsoever in the said reports.



According to the statement, "President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has implicit confidence in the ability of the current crop of ministers to deliver and has no plan to undertake any replacement at the moment.
