How Boko Haram’s Kabiru Sokoto Was Set Free Without The Police Firing A Single Gun Shot At Those That Seized Him

According to SaharaReporters investigations, it is now brought to the notice of Nigerians how Christmas Day Boko Haram's Bomber turn fugitive, Kabri Sokoto who is still at large with a N50 million reward on him eluded the Nigeria Police Force.
This is how Sahara Reports are reporting it:

Scores of locals in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja have explained how the suspected kingpin of Boko Haram, Kabiru Umar, aka Kabiru Sokoto, was captured from Police.
Contrary to the story told so far, the locals told SaharaReporters through an interpreter in Angwar Tsohuwar Kasuwa in Abuja where the incident occurred,  that the people who came to take Kabiru from the police numbered in the hundreds, but were not armed.
Asking that their identity not be revealed, the sources said that the invading group liberated Kabiru Umar without the police firing a single shot until he had been taken away, as if to give the impression that there had been a fight.  In the process, however, the police killed one person in the area and arrested several people they claimed to be "suspects."

Five policemen our sources said came casually as if they are not holding suspect of a high profile case, and did not also inform the police in Abaji town ahead of their coming and upon arrival.
They confirmed the suspect's real name to be "Kabiru Umar," and described him as a man of few words.  Instead, he was always busy with the Almajiris learning under him, they said.
One of the sources said of the taking of Kabiru, "We were watching when some people came from nowhere and swooped on the police. We thought [they police] will initially return fire but surprisingly they overpowered them like film (movie) and captured Kabiru in handcuffs from the police. And after [the police] lost him to the people they started shooting and arresting innocent people."
Another of the sources said that they suddenly saw people struggling and at first did not know what was going on. "There was no single gun shot, nor teargas. The people just collected him and go. How did the mob know that they are coming with Kabir? It means there is something wrong somewhere with the police. There is nothing like taking him to our chief house. Our chief has no business with them. '
The local chief, Dr. Adamu Baba Yunusa, could not be reached as he was said to be in Abuja.
Earlier today, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Hafiz Ringim, declared Kabiru Umar wanted, placing a N50 million bounty on his head.  The action came one day after President Goodluck Jonathan gave the IG 24 hours to produce the suspect.
That ultimatum expired today, without Kabiru being found, and nothing noteworthy happening within the government.
