Music Of Black Origin nominates D'Banj Seun Kuti

Barely two months after Nigerian superstars Dbanj and 2Face made Nigeria proud by winning the Best African Act at the 2011 Black Entertainment Awards in Los Angeles, United States, another opportunity has availed itself for the country to shine again musically.

Music Of Black Origin MOBO Awards 2011 has nominated the trio of Dbanj, WizKid and Seun Kuti to compete along side seven others in the Best African act category of the awards.

Fatouma Diawara, Liquideep, Owiny Sigoma Band are some of the other big Africa artistes nominated in the same category. .
Also nominated in this years MOBO awards are Adele, Beyonce, Brumo Mars, Nikki Minaj, Rihanna, Jessie J, and Ceelo Green amongst others.

This year's edition will also feature a special performance from legendary group, Boyz II Men, to celebrate 20 years of music.

The MOBO Awards (Music Of Black Origin) has been going strong for the past 16 years.
